from by Marianne Dissard

This is a raw and unedited, one-take live audio commentary of Marianne Dissard's 2011 album "L'Abandon" by producers Marianne Dissard and Jim Waters.

Length : 45mn
English only

You know, just like they do on DVDs, when you get the director and producer rambling on about their film.

Recorded in April 2010 in Tucson, Arizona at the studio of Jim Waters, a couple of days after the initial recording sessions had taken place and before final mixing, mastering and sequencing.

The album, just as it stood at the time, is playing in the background. Commentaries span the creative process, logistics of recordings, notes on writing and compositions, small talks and background info on everything from the players involved in the Tucson recording sessions to just about everything relevant to the album. And it's funny also, I guess.

Free to download in exchange for your email address and your kind approval of my sending you further info about subsequent releases at just about any time down the line.

Buy the album! We need it! And see you at a show!
